Budweiser Made In America 2014 | Labor Day Weekend | Philadelphia & Los Angeles

Shawn “JAY Z” Carter, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino, Budweiser and United Way of Greater Los Angeles are bringing the spirit of “Budweiser Made In America,” to Los Angeles during the 2014 Labor Day weekend.

The two-day music festival began in Philadelphia on Labor Day weekend 2012 to benefit United Way of Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and United Way of Lancaster County, and this year will deliver twice the amount of music. Live Nation will produce both the Philadelphia and Los Angeles two-day music festivals, delivering must-see performances on both coasts. Details and lineups for both festival locations will be announced at a later date.

Budweiser Made In America will be the first American festival to run simultaneously on both coasts. Performances from both Budweiser Made In America sites will be available for fans to view with live-streaming.

So Philly has to share the line-up with LA now? I feel like Philly will get shortchanged majorly. The 1st year of this festival and the amazing lineup were such a tease. Last year the football field length between the main Rocky stage and the General Admission ticket-goers made it where you couldn’t see the stage anyway. smh

I think that both coasts should get to see the same shows… so whoever performs in Philly on Saturday should perform in LA on Sunday and vice versa.. keep it fair.. don’t shortchange Philly HOV!

Hahahahaha! Los Angeles is going to be off the chain!

I think this is so cool, especially for the fans that can’t make it. I’m excited like I live in Philly or L.A. lol! O.K I see you Mr. Carter setting trends without the Hash-tags :)

This was a very innovative idea, especially for the fans and not to mention the idea of both having both coast rocking at the same dam time! WoW! I raise my watermelon martini to the sky for a toast to self-actualization, innovative ideas, teamwork, music and the fans…whoot! whoot!

fuck man, i really hope HOV don’t cut philly short

It makes sense that HOV and his cabinet would decide to have a festival stretching coast to coast because many of the performances are showcasing unrecognized artists. I think that this is the whole point of this festival, right?….being Made In America? Hosting the festival centered on multiple geographic areas will ensure a yield of the best possible sample of talent.

Jay Z should have done L.A. Memorial Day and Philly Labor Day! Now the lineups will be watered down….

Cute thought but I don’t think there’s any way of having every
act agree to traveling all the way across the country right after performing to do another show the very next day or night
