Vex’d – Degenerate (Planet Mu Records, 2005)

This is one of the best sounding albums ever. If you play it on a huge PA you would probably die. At the time – and when early dubstep and grime were hyping – genius minds of Jamie Teasdale and Roly Porter gave birth to an evergreen classic, which set up a new standard without being standard; and opened a whole world in the electronic music scene with its distorted, bass bombardment sound.
