Roc Nation is the new Bad Boy. Lots of talent, nothing done with it.

    Jay Electronica any one?

@ernestoworldwide:disqus your opinion is invalid until you have an actual picture of yourself.

Can’t blame Hov for another man’s drive. Jay Electronica has been around for years and never dropped. You got to have grind in the music business today. Self promotion and work ethic are detemining factors in being successful. Jay E has the talent but not much else.

Roc Nation would be a dream come true……

I think timberland needs to work on Jay electronica’s project if jay is still on roc nation

Jayz such a smart business guy as well as 50 cent, timb team up with 50 for the headphones and now he team up with jay. IM pretty sure jay said 50 gonna eat so will i ha they always trying to one up each other and diddy seems to always be the third guy trying to keep up with something new good move for HOV

The best rapper in the game and the best producer in the game! It’s just natural!!

  • Ya boiii

But Eminem and Dr. Dre aren’t signed to Roc Nation…

  • fuckyocouch

I disagree. Roc Nation is bringing back artist development. Jay Elec gets to cultivate his music without the threat of being dropped. It took a while for J. Cole to drop, but when he did he had a number 1 album with no major singles, remind you of anyone?

  • http://twitter.com/DirtySoutHipHop DirtySouthHipHop.Com

You must be use to microwave mass production labels that drop artist and stay hot for 5 yrs tops and they’re done. I rather wait for substance the way Aftermath and RocNation takes it’s time. Comparing Bad Boy to RocNation is so wrong on many levels. Bad Boy was a marketing machine and RocNation is built on real artists. J Cole will be around longer than French Montana. Bets anyone?

  • http://twitter.com/Thee_Villain $$$

j.cole, rita ora and bridget kelly

  • http://www.facebook.com/john.jonas.7121 John Jonas

Jay Elec dropped out of the game on his own. His stagnant career is his own doing. Ya’ll kids read too many headlines and not enough articles lol

lmfao wtf? random ass bitch get the fuck outta here

  • http://twitter.com/GWrenII Gerald Wren

Are you kidding? What about Jay himself, Kanye West and Rihanna. All BIG selling artists. J Cole? Another big selling artist. And Jay Electronica is just taking his sweet ass time

  • pedschilly

Jay Electronica is lazy and too comfortable… bad choice of an example.

Hopefully this won’t be much to do about nothing. I would love to what direction this takes Tim as far as more exposure for his albums. I would love to as a music lover been in the room when this conversation took place.Congrats!

  • shhhhhhh

url dissing Em bt all in all the whole industry got mad respect for the white boy and his craft. its senseless really, yes Jigga been in the game for longer but look at what the white boy did in a faction of the time that Jigga’s been in the game. Marshall’s is being compared with his seniors and he out rapped Jigga on the his own track “renegade”

fam, you dont have a pic either. you need pics to go with all your books too? c’mon son.

  • Anonymous

Jay, Kanye and Rihanna are just artists that moved from Roc-A-Fella to RocNation. That has nothing to do with the establishment of new artists. Im talking new artists and people RocNation is signing. J.Cole is great, but a big selling artist? Not really. The game isnt what it used to be.

  • Anonymous

I agree with you actually. The influence Bad Boy had on the game though, it was monstrous.

  • http://www.facebook.com/kakraba.kobby Kakraba Kobby

jiggas’ credibility is exceptional and doubt about his development towards building up his future.

  • Corey Maur-Ice Alexander

I think theyre trying to keep up with Puff.
