A Gift or A Curse

Lamb’s teammate at UConn Andre Drummond is projected to go to the Portland Trail Blazers, a franchise where centers go to suffer debilitating injuries. Drummond has all the tools to be the next Dwight Howard. At 18, he’s already 7’0″, 280-pounds, with a wingspan of over seven feet, and elite athletic ability. The good new is that he has no known serious health issues and he’s a terror on defense. The downside is, he doesn’t always work hard off the court to improve is game, shot an awful 29.5 percent from the charity stripe, and did not produce as expected in his single season for the Huskies. Lamb believes that Drummond could be great if he puts in the time off the court. Now it’s up to Drummond to make it work.
